Exciting news!!!
Well, Schyler and I are expecting another baby! It's due August 3rd, and we're really excited. I go between being really excited, to really freaking out, but mostly excited. I'm not telling my other kids just yet, or else Riley will be asking me EVERYDAY when the baby's coming, and I can't handle that just yet. I've been really sick for a few weeks, but when we went to Schyler's parents on Christmas Eve, and two days after, I felt great! Then, right after we left, I've been sick again. Crazy, but I'm so glad that I got to enjoy Christmas without throwing up! Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and I think I might start sharing some belly pictures, because this is our last baby, and I want to enjoy it, and be involved in it as much as I can! Happy Holidays!

10 year reunion!
I had my high school 10 year reunion a couple of weeks ago, and it was so much fun! I went with two of my best girlfriends and we just partied the night away. I got to fly down to California for it without my kids or husband, and stayed with my parents, so that was kind of weird, and really fun! I felt kind of lazy because I didn't have any responsibility. Crazy! It was a really fun four day trip, but I was ready to see my family at the end. I missed them! It was also fun hanging out with my sister Heidi and her family. Here are some pictures to enjoy!

Sorry no pictures
Of course, I can't find my camera again, so I've been holding off of posting because I want pictures included, but oh well. A little update on us. Halloween was fun. We went to my sister Jaime's house, and trick-or-treated with cousins. My newest nephew, Aidan, was born Oct. 18 and he was 8 lbs 10 oz, I think. He is adorable, of course, and he was a cow for Halloween. So cute! Riley was Hercules and Brooklyn was Tinkerbell. She was such a stinker that night and she didn't even trick-or-treat. She stayed in the stroller the whole time. She's getting her two-year molars, so she's not feeling too great right now. Anyway, other than that, we had a blast! So we FINALLY finished our kitchen floor, and put in a dishwasher (YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!) and a new stove, so I finally have a normal kitchen. It's still hideous, but usable. Unless you have all the time in the world, I wouldn't recommend buying a fixer. It's a pain, and it takes forever! Well, happy holidays to all and to all a good night! Or something like that.

Happy Birthday Schyler!!!!
It's Schyler Birthday! Happy Birthday Schyler! I love you so much, and I appreciate all you do for our family and I'm thankful for our radical friendship. You're the best father and husband ANYONE could ever have, and I'm sure glad it's me! I love you. Here's some cute and silly pictures of our family. I realized that there are no pictures of me, so here I am in all my glory, even though I look kind of drunk in one, and just crazy in the other! He He. Thats a jellyfish that Riley drew, and just a cute picture of Brooklyn with her gap teeth. We're about to give up the binky because she cries for it all the time now, even though she knows she only gets it at nap and bed time. Both of my kids have been horribly sick this past week. Riley had a 104.4 temperature that lasted for a few days. Then one morning, it was totally gone! Brooklyn is still sick, but her temp isn't as high. I hate when my kids are sick, it's so sad.

Some house stuff
Okay, so our house was a total mess when we got here. The people that lived here were absolute pigs! I don't think they cleaned at all. I might have mentioned that already, but it has to be said again. I have some pictures of the house, mind you, this house is a fixer, so I'm kind of embarrassed to show them, but when we're all done with it, it's going to be awesome! We are almost done with the kitchen floor, our first project. It was hard work! I won't go into detail about what we did, but let me tell you, my whole body is sore! As you can tell from the pictures, we still have the edges to do, then we'll be done, and on to the next project! It's very satisfying work, and it has saved us thousands. Hopefully, we'll be done with the kitchen in the next couple of months. Yahoo! The picture of the dishwasher is disgusting, no? The people that lived here left stagnant water in it for who knows how long, but it turned to soup, and we had to ladle it out before we could move it. Thank goodness Schyler's dad was here to help, so I didn't have to experience it up close, but from afar. Still, it was funky! I'll update when we're done with the floor completely, so stay tuned! Bye Bye.
PS That spider was one of many that decided to welcome us into the neighborhood. He was the biggest, though, so we decided to capture him (or her) on film so we wouldn't forget our humble beginnings! Creepy huh?

At the beach
Here's a few pictures of the kids at the beach at Schyler's parents house on Camano Island. The kids just love the beach! They're not like California beaches, but they're really neat. They're rocky, and when the tide's out, you can go down and turn over rocks and just find tons of fun little creatures. There are tons of crabs, star fish, sea anemones, little eels, and lots of mussels and clams. It's totally tubular! Anyway, the kids just have a blast when we go there! You can't really see the crabs, but they're holding them in the pictures. Brooklyn wanted to turn over her own rocks and find her own crabs, so she was alone in most of the pictures. She's my little Miss Independence!

We survived
We are all moved in! Well, almost. We still have a few boxes to unpack, but it's over. We moved to North Tacoma, for those of you who didn't know. Our house was extremely dirty and pretty much nauseating when we moved in, but it's clean now, and we love it. It's a big fixer, so we're going to start with the kitchen floor. We just picked out our tile, so we'll start hopefully in the next few days! Now I just need to find a preschool for Riley. He is so excited to go to school. He carries around his little backpack all the time and says he's going to school. He is definitely ready! He can spell, on the verge of reading. He knows all his letters, upper and lower case, and he can spell anything! He's just starting to recognize little words, so he's almost there! I know I'm bragging, but I'm just so proud of him. He loves to learn. Brooklyn's talking up a storm, singing and dancing her way through life. She loves music and screaming. She screams a lot, and I'm not sure what to do about that. She is very active and loves to be outside. She also loves taking Riley's toys from him and running away, laughing, as fast as she can. Then, when Riley catches her, she screams bloody murder. She's a little crazy! But we love her. I do have pictures to post, but I haven't downloaded them from my camera to the computer, and I don't know where the wire for that is! As soon as I find it, pictures galore, baby. Till then, take care everyone!

Memory Lane
Memory Lane.... the tag that gets everyone involved
I've seen this on a few blogs and love the idea! Here's how you play
1. Leave a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and i had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory of you. It's actually pretty funny to the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
3. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
I love remembering things. I just can't believe that I'm already 28 years old and all the people that have passed through my life.

Help!
I am having the HARDEST time feeding my kids. They are both highly allergic to milk and peanuts. They are also very picky, so I don't have many choices. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Also, how do you get a picky kid to eat something he doesn't want? I'm worried they're not getting enough nutrients, and too much fat and salt. Anyway, thanks for listening!

Brooklyn's pool play
This is Brooklyn having a grand old time in her tiny little pool! She jumped in before I could even fill it up, and as you can see, I didn't have time to put a swim diaper on her, so her diaper is HUGE! I can't believe how much those things absorb. Anyway, you can see that she had a blast. Riley got bored faster than she did, hence the picture of him inside.

Fun times!
Hey all. I can't find my camera, so I haven't posted anything lately because I like posting with pictures. Oh well. My sister Heidi and her fam just came up to Washington for five days, and we had a blast! We went to the beach (it's more like a lake because there are no waves), and we went to the Seattle Center. We got to ride a bunch of carnival rides at the Seattle Center. Well, the kids did. They had so much fun. My kids love rides and being scared, especially Brooklyn. She's a wild women. She threw the biggest fits after every ride because she wanted to stay on them. Riley's favorite was a spaceship ride that went in circles, then started moving up and down also. It was so much fun. Riley and his cousin, Ethan, were best buds and they had so much fun together. We also went to these tide pools while the tide was low, and we got to see so many cool things! We saw HUGE starfish, and tons and tons of crabs, which all the kids held, and fish and eels, and sea anemones. It was really neat. It was so fun having Heidi here, and I already miss her. I wish she lived closer. I am glad that I have my other sister, Jaime, here or I would totally go insane! I hope I can find my camera soon so I can post some cute pictures. Hope you all have a glorious day!

I have the cutest kids!
Another funny Riley moment!
Kids say the darndest things! I put on Baby Einstein for Brooklyn, and Riley started watching it also. It was the one about the planets and stuff. I was saying all the names for the kids, and of course, when Uranus came up, I said "Uranus" and Riley, not knowing the word anus, of course, turns to me and says, "My anus?" I just about died laughing. Kids are so innocent.

Riley's funny words
Riley is at the age where he says some funny things! We were in the car the other day, and music was playing, so I told the kids to dance. Riley usually loves to dance, but he wasn't really moving. So I said "Riley, dance!" And he replied, "Mom, my bum is dancing!" It was cute.
